Avant Homes West Scotland has started construction on a £72million, 280-home multi-tenure development in Armadale, West Lothian.
Named Honeyman Park, the 17-acre development will comprise a mix of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom energy-efficient homes. It will feature 12 of Avant Homes’ house types, with prices to be released at a later date.
Of the 280 homes, a third have been designated for affordable housing. Avant Homes has also committed to a community contribution of £3.7million to support education and local services, and a sustainable travel plan.
Avant Homes West Scotland anticipates it will release the first homes for sale at Honeyman Park in March and that the first residents will move in during June, with a four-bedroom showhome also scheduled for June.
Avant Homes West Scotland regional managing director, Jim Wilkinson, said: “Work is progressing well at Honeyman Park and we are looking forward to delivering a wide variety of quality new homes for everyone.”
“As a multi-tenure housebuilder, we want to create vibrant communities and make owning a new home as accessible to as many people as possible wherever they are on their home buying journey.”
“Honeyman Park is in an excellent location just 25 minutes away from both Glasgow and Edinburgh, making it the ideal place for a wide range of buyers to call home.”
“Anyone interested in our practically-designed, energy-efficient homes should register their interest with us now ahead of our sales launch in March.”
Avant Homes previously successfully developed and sold out a £21million, 110-home development in Armadale called Ellis Vale, which is situated close to the Armadale Academy and features a mix of three- and four-bedroom detached properties.
